Europe’s Largest Game-focused Ad-tech Company Selects CAKE by Accelerize

CAKE Empowers ad2games to Boost Performance Marketing Strategies

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – October 1, 2015 – Accelerize (OTCQB: ACLZ) (OTCBB: ACLZ) and its digital marketing software division CAKE, today announced that ad2games, Europe’s largest game-focused ad-tech company, has selected CAKES’s SaaS marketing platform to underpin its customer acquisition strategies for online games publishers and distributors. CAKE’s affiliate tracking and analytics software was chosen by ad2games for the accuracy of its real-time analysis capabilities, as well as its reliability, scalability, ease-of-use, API support and smooth integration with third-party systems.

A technology-driven performance marketing specialist for games, ad2games provides quality users across 75 markets for more than 150 game publishers, including Bigpoint, Electronic Arts and Kabam. According to NewZoo, the global games industry is estimated to be worth $93 billion by the end of 2015, of which the PC gaming segment makes up $27.1 billion. This later figure is expected to grow significantly by 2017 driven mainly by purchases of virtual goods (micro-transactions) within “free-to-play” games.

“The “‘free-to-play”’ model has disrupted the games industry in recent years, with the overall market size growing as a result,” said Antonino Hemmer, Head of Product Operations at ad2games. “It is easier and more affordable to distribute a game globally than ever before. However, it’s also critical that games developers find not just any user, but those that will actively engage with the game and make in-game purchases as a result of that engagement.”

Hemmer continued, “We were looking for a scalable tracking and analytics solution that was flexible enough to be utilized across all aspects of our business and CAKE’s system fits the bill. Rather than having to maintain and support an in-house solution, we can instead focus on developing innovative new solutions for our clients, built upon the real-time analytical capabilities provided by CAKE.”

“CAKE’s advanced, granular tracking capabilities allow online gaming advertisers and publishers to accurately assess the performance of online gaming promotions,” said Santi Pierini, CAKE president and Chief Operating Officer of Accelerize. “It’s crucial to look closely at the behavior of ‘free-to-play’ game users and to optimize the sources driving in-game purchases via smart, data-driven marketing.”
