CAKE by Accelerize Extends Global Footprint with Growing Asia Pacific Client Base

CAKE’s Proprietary SaaS Solution Empowers Digital Marketers with Industry-leading Multi-channel Tracking Capabilities

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – September 22, 2016 – Accelerize (OTCQB: ACLZ) (OTCBB: ACLZ) and its digital marketing software division CAKE, announced today that CAKE continues to strengthen its international presence with an expanding roster of customers based in China and Southeast Asia, including EffectMobi, Wewe Media, FashionMIA, Laser Media, Cheaperseeker.com and WiteMedia. For these clients, CAKE’s proprietary SaaS platform currently tracks more than 58 million actions per month across multiple channels including affiliate, search, social, retail and mobile. This granular data provides insights that enable them to make real-time, data-driven decisions to maximize digital marketing spend.

According to Statista, APAC will account for 25% of global online advertising spending in 2016. Furthermore, eMarketer predicts China’s digital ad spending will reach $40.4 billion annually, accounting for more than 50% of the estimated $78.3 billion expected to be spent in 2016 on total media ad spending. eMarketer also predicts that mobile spending in China will be responsible for 55.5% of all ecommerce sales and is projecting that figure to reach 68% by 2020.

“The APAC marketing ecosystem is evolving beyond traditional media outlets to encompass digitally focused strategies, including affiliate marketing, social, mobile and search. And CAKE is well primed for growth in this fast-paced region,” said Santi Pierini, CAKE President and Chief Operating Officer of Accelerize. “In fact, digital marketers in the APAC region are considered to be early-tech adopters. We are thrilled to provide detailed insights, robust tracking and feature-rich technology to these marketing pioneers, with the goal of empowering them with the tools to maximize their digital spend.”

“Generating over 75,000 conversions daily across 168 countries, we require a platform that not only tracks and reports on every consumer action but also offers streamlined operations by managing offers and creative assets,” said Aaron Tan, Director of Media at Wewe Media Group. “By aggregating our data into a single dashboard, CAKE has provided Wewe Media with the ability to track our data in real-time. This allows us to quickly act on that data and optimize our digital campaign performance and ROI.”

CAKE has experienced tremendous international growth with 33% of overall revenue being generated outside of the U.S. in Q2 of 2016, up from 28% in Q2 of 2015. CAKE’s total revenue in Q2 of 2016 reached a record $6.0 MM, a 10% increase from the $5.5 MM reported in Q2 of 2015.
